The Foundation Arpad Szenes - Vieira da Silva is installed on the old "factory of the fabrics of silk," the Garden of Amoreiras.
The building of the century. XVIII, restored and upgraded, the line remains in harmony with the outer square, where the chapel is part of N. Lady of Montserrat (1786) and the Mother of Water.
The collection of the museum covers a wide period of production of the two painters: Arpad Szenes 1911 to 1985, Maria Helena Vieira da Silva from 1926 to 1986.
