To get to St. George's Castle you can directly take the bus No 37. You can also get close to the castle caught the trams No. 12 (out of the Praça da Figueira), or tram 28 (out of the Martim Moniz square).
To get to St. George's Castle walk from the city center, you can go by Conception Street towards Cathedral of Lisbon, through the Church and Museum of St. Anthony, continues to climb the Rua Augusto Rosa until you reach the Mirador Santa Luzia on the right. On the opposite side is a street that leads to the Castle of São Jorge.
